Our mission at Preppr.ai is to empower individuals and communities with the tools and information needed for effective preparedness. A crucial part of this is building on the foundational work of governmental agencies, research institutions, and other organizations. This page serves to credit those whose work underpins our products.

Alerts and Warning Action Functionalities: The templates used for our alerts and warnings are developed from information in the public domain. We specifically acknowledge the foundational research conducted by Sutton et al. (2023), who completed a multiphased study to identify, design, and develop effective content for warning messages. This significant work was published by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and was supported by the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Integrated Public Alert and Warning System (FEMA-IPAWS) under award number $70FA5021C00000016$. The full citation for the study is: Sutton, J., Vos, S. C., Wood, M. M., & Schneider, M. (2023).
