This launch didn’t happen overnight..

The journey so far:

September 2023:

Megan and I talked about going all in on projects that excited us. I picked Preppr.

October 2023:

Preppr started as an idea after a sleepless night and a call to Daniel.

March 2024:

We launched our first prototype at the Prep Summit. The response validated our vision and set the stage for what was next.

December 2024 - January 2025:

• I signed Eric Marcoullier as my start up coach.

• We launched to beta with nearly 20 active government users.

• Awarded a $90k NYC Pandemic Response Institute grant to build and evaluate swarm intelligent exercise design.

• Laura Runnels joined as Chief of Staff to bring order to my fast (and chaotic) style and help me grow into CEO mode.

• Emma joined as Lead of Community and Learning.

• Ellie Daw joined as Technical Advisor.

• Daniel Daugherty and Domenico Colandrea built and led an external dev team critical to our success.

• Matt Haley delivered our Dr. Preppr mascot.

• Held the Advisory Group orientation, with Kim Guevara, Kimberley Shoaf, Meghan McGinty, Amelia Burke-Garcia, Leremy Colf, Julius Macatangay, Christian Johnson, Rachael Piltch-Loeb, Joy P., Andrew Owlett, and Gary Reeve.

• Featured in Forbes.

• Angel Oliver designed not only what’s launching now but also the expanded Preppr platform I’m pitching to investors, and the Preppr website.

• Began SOC 2 compliance to meet the highest standards of security and trust.

• Retained Decrypted Law, LLP to guide us through launch, growth and compliance.

• Launched a customized Preppr as a national product for the National Environmental Health Association.

• Explainly produced this wonderful promo video.

None of this would have been possible without Megan Snair, who has held down her own work, the house and kids while I’ve taken 20+ trips in the past 12 months.

And now, almost one year after launching our prototype at the Prep Summit, we’re back—with a fully launched product ready to make a difference.

But let’s be clear—this isn’t the finish line.

It’s the starting line.
